Q – At what age did you start playing hockey and who/what pushed you try and ultimately stick with the game?

A- I started playing the game of hockey when I was 5 years old. My father took me to public skate and I loved just being on the ice. So the next step after that was “Learn To Play” hockey and that’s where it all started.

Q – Is their one particular play, goal, hit, save, etc…that really stands out over your playing career?

A -One moment that stood out to me during my hockey career was in my last year of midgets (Warwick Wildcats, PA) when we made it to the National Championships in Lansing, Michigan.

Q  -Hockey is one of the more “team” based sports. What is the dynamic like to be a part of that atmosphere? (in the locker room, on the bus, practice, etc…)

A – Being a part of hockey team is a lot different than any other team I have ever been a part of. It’s a great feeling knowing that everyone has each other’s back and we treat each other just like family.

Q – As a freshmen, what is the biggest adjustment to playing on the college level?

A – The biggest adjustment I see myself experiencing is playing against kids that are 4 or even more years older than me. Also, the speed is another adjustment I have to go through.

Q – Some hockey players are known to be very superstitious; do you have any superstitions, pre-game during, etc…?

A – Some superstitions that I have is that I always tie my right skate before my left, re-tape stick before each game and during warm-ups always stretch on the blue line on the opposite sides of the benches.

Q – Favorite Team?

A – Philadelphia Flyers

Q – Favorite Player?

A – Brett Burns

Q – Pre-Game Meal?

A – The meal I like to eat before a game is always any kind of pasta

Q – What type of music, if any, do you listen to before a game?

A -I prefer a little throwback rock music or EDM music

Q – What is the one piece of equipment you are most picky about?

A – I am most picky about my skates. If they aren’t tied the right way I make myself redo them.
