Q – At what age did you start playing hockey and who/what pushed you try and ultimately stick with the game?

A- I started skating at the age of 6, when I turned 7 I started playing hockey. My father always pushed me to play hockey considering he loved to play and watch the sport.

Q – Is their one particular play, goal, hit, save, etc…that really stands out over your playing career?

A – For sure the one moment that stands out in my career thus far is scoring my first ever goal.

Q  -Hockey is one of the more “team” based sports. What is the dynamic like to be a part of that atmosphere? (in the locker room, on the bus, practice, etc…)

A – Hockey is one of or is the biggest team sport out there today. The bonds made with the boys when traveling on the bus, at practice, at games, and in the locker room are all memories that I will remember forever. With all the time we all spend together I feel as if I have a second family and that is important for success.

Q – As a freshmen, what is the biggest adjustment to playing on the college level?

A – My biggest adjustment has been living away from home and of course balancing school work and hockey. My families support will make me continue my education and playing for the team these next 4 years.

Q – Some hockey players are known to be very superstitious; do you have any superstitions, pre-game during, etc…?

A – I always need to have a clean tape job on my stick, also I am usually the last person to come out of the locker room when hitting the ice

Q – Favorite Team?

A – New York Rangers

Q – Favorite Player?

A – Ryan McDonagh & J.T. Miller

Q – Pre-Game Meal?

A – Pasta or Chicken Salad

Q – What type of music, if any, do you listen to before a game?

A –Rap and/or Techno Music

Q – What is the one piece of equipment you are most picky about?

A – I am very picky with my stick
